This coming week is going to be a very exciting one for me, as I’ll be participating in my first read-a-thon, Bout of Books!
Yup.
Used to writing longer posts, but since I’m so new at this, that’s really all I can say about it.
So here are my goals!
I love the looks of them all there, neatly organized by chicky and grittyness. These books are a hodge-podge of what’s on my shelf, sequels to series I’ve liked, and books I wanted to re-read for review. I’ve actually already started The Divorce Papers, and I’m wondering if anyone knows if it’s okay to enter that in the read-a-thon? I’m not sure it sounds right, so I probably won’t, but you can’t deny it looks cute up there next to When in Doubt, Add Butter and The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender.
Looking forward to start my first binge-reading session!
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 13 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
Yay, yay, and yay! I am so glad that you are signed up! We will have a great time. I am also glad to see that you are reading The Strange and Beautiful… I look forward to seeing what you think of When In Doubt, Add Butter.

So cute, isn’t it? That reminds me- I should review “There’s cake in my Future.” I love- LOVED it! Anyways, I’m totally looking forward to the Read-a-thon! The more books I look at, the more fired up I get. We’ll definitely have to do some of it together! (Partially because I don’t know what I’m doing! 😀 )

I AM SUCH A BIG FAN OF WHITE CAT THAT I CANNOT EVEN RIGHT NOW!!! It’s so incredibly underrated. IT TRULY IS! I love the humour and the plot twists and the originality. *hugs book* It’s my favourite of the trilogy, but the last ones is pretty dang epic too. Also: The Raven Boys is LIFE. It’s kind of slow…but I don’t even care because the writing is so goshdarn beautiful. I hope you get through all these and GOOD LUCK! Love how diverse your stack is too! x)

Thanks so much! White Cat is a re-read because I LOVED it so much! I almost DIED at the end, I was like “Why hasn’t everyone read this book!?” That plot twist was AMAZING! Can’t wait to read Raven Boys, either. LOVED The Scorpio Races and hoping for the same sort of style. Thanks so much for visiting!
